How to Coloring Your Hair Black Brown at Home

If you want to color your hair black brown, sometimes with one color does not give the desired look. When this happens, you can try to dye your hair with two separate colors. For example, black and brown are quite simple. This process is called two-tone coloring and is often used by women who seek variety in their appearance. Without needing a degree in cosmetology to be colored in a way that supports this desire for variety.

How To Do

1.       Purchase the two different dye mixes, one brown and one black. These dyes can be found at any hair care store or local beauty near you.
2.       Using the hair comb, part your hair horizontally; this should be done just above the ears right where your skull begins to curve. If you want the color to be disproportionate, you may try to part the hair lower or higher to make one section of color larger than the other.
3.       Apply the dye of one color onto the top half of the hair first. Make sure you read the instructions of the dye that you purchased to know exactly how long the dye should stay in and how to rinse it out. Once you are done dying the top half of your hair, clip the hair up so that it will not easily fall and wrap that half in a shower cap.
4.       Repeat the same step with the bottom half of the hair using the other hair dyes. Be careful that very little, if any of the opposite dye gets under the shower cap. Once you rinse the dye out, take the shower cap off and blow dry the hair on low heat until all of your hair is dry. This will result in a nicely two-toned hair color of brown and black.

Tips to Naturally Dye Your Hair Brown

Want to have beautiful brown hair without dry effects, do not want to use carcinogenic ingredients found in commercial dyes? You can give yourself beautiful radiant brown hair with a little patience and the use of natural materials.
How to do

1.       Brew a cup of the blackest coffee you can manage. Once the coffee is brewed, pour it back through the coffee grounds and redrew. Do this five times.
2.       Take five to six black tea bags and add them to the coffee. Bring this mixture to a boil. Let the tea bags continue to steep in the coffee and tea mixture as it cools.
3.       Bring one cup of crushed walnut shells and one cup of water to a boil in a separate pot. Add a pinch of salt. Let the mixture boil for 10 minutes and allow the shells to steep as the mixture cools.
4.       Mix the cup of coffee and tea with the liquid from the walnut shells (strain out the shells first). This is your brunette hair dye. Add a few drops of essential oil for scent, if you like.
5.       Pour the dark brown liquid through your hair 10 times after showering. On the final pour, wring out your hair but don't rinse it. Wrap your head in a shower cap, old towel, or plastic bag, and let the dye do its work for 20 minutes. Then, rinse out with cold water.

Tips & Warnings
Since natural dyes are gentler than chemicals, you will need to repeat this process for several weeks before you see a change. Do it every day for the fastest results. Your new brunette hair will be shiny and conditioned! Good luck.
After Care
Use conditioner for color treated hair. It should specify this directly on the bottle. This is a great way to make your hair color last as long as possible.
